چکیده

One common technique for modeling closed surfaces of arbitrary topological type is to de ne them by piecewise parametric triangular patches on an irregular mesh. This surface mesh serves as a control mesh which is either interpolated or approximated. A new method for smooth triangular mesh interpolation has been developed. It is based on a regular 4-split of the domain triangles in order to solve the vertex consistency problem. In this paper a generalization of the 4-split domain method is presented in that the method becomes completely local. It will further be shown how normal directions, i.e. tangent planes, can be prescribed at the patch vertices.

Comparison of Some Split-window Algorithms to Estimate Land Surface Temperature from AVHRR Data in Southeastern Tehran,

Land surface temperature (LST) is a significant parameter for many applications. Many studies have proposedvarious algorithms, such as the split-window method, for retrieving surface temperatures from two spectrallyadjacent thermal infrared bands of satellite data. Each algorithm is developed for a limited study area andapplication. In this paper, as part of developing an optimal split-window m...

A Recursive Approximation Approach of non-iid Lognormal Random Variables Summation in Cellular Systems

Co-channel interference is a major factor in limiting the capacity and link quality in cellular communications. As the co-channel interference is modeled by lognormal distribution, sum of the co-channel interferences of neighboring cells is represented by the sum of lognormal Random Variables (RVs) which has no closed-form expression. Assuming independent, identically distributed (iid) RVs, the...

Hyperspectral Images Classification by Combination of Spatial Features Based on Local Surface Fitting and Spectral Features

Hyperspectral sensors are important tools in monitoring the phenomena of the Earth due to the acquisition of a large number of spectral bands. Hyperspectral image classification is one of the most important fields of hyperspectral data processing, and so far there have been many attempts to increase its accuracy. Spatial features are important due to their ability to increase classification acc...

Modélisation géométrique de surfaces lisses: Design et Fairing. (Geometric modeling of smooth surfaces: Design and Fairing)

A piecewise quintic G1 spline surface interpolating the vertices of a triangular surface mesh of arbitrary topological type is presented. The surface has an explicit triangular Bézier representation, is affine invariant and has local support. The twist compatibility problem which arises when joining an even number of polynomial patches G1 continuously around a common vertex is solved by constru...

Development a split window algorithm to estimate land surface temperature from Sentinel -3 satellite data

Land Surface Temperature (LST) is an important indicator of the study of energy balance models at the earthchr('39')s surface and the interactions between the Earth and the atmosphere on a regional and global scale. To date, different algorithms have been developed in the last few decades to determine the land surface temperature using various satellite images. In this study, a new split window...
